Key Responsibilities – Manufacturing Engineer

Developing CNC machining processes and programs for new and existing componentsCreating, modifying and optimising CNC toolpaths using Hypermill CAMDefining machining sequences, cutting strategies and process optimisation plansSelecting tooling, cutting parameters and designing fixturing solutions for complex geometriesCreating and maintaining detailed process documentation, work instructions and routingsSupporting machine shop operations with tooling validation, trial cuts and program prove‑outsTroubleshooting machining issues and driving process resolutions on the shop floorReducing cycle times, scrap and rework through structured continuous‑improvement activitySupporting the introduction and commissioning of new CNC machinery and technologiesWorking with Industrial Engineering and Production Engineering to align machining processes to wider manufacturing needsEnsuring machining processes meet required quality, safety and regulatory standards
