I’m responsible for the weekly payroll processing for 100+ contractors across our Gloucestershire and Leeds branches, ensuring every worker is paid accurately and on time. I work closely with our wider payroll team to maintain smooth operations, resolve discrepancies, and make sure all deadlines are met. At the start of each week, my role focuses heavily on chasing, collecting, and validating hours before inputting them into our internal payroll system. A key part of this process includes managing job cards through our Universe platform, where I check, approve, and upload all time entries to ensure compliance and accuracy for both the client and our contractors. Universe has become an essential tool in streamlining our workflow, allowing me to stay organised and maintain full visibility of every contractor’s activity. The second half of my week is more varied from assisting consultants with a range of administrative tasks to taking the lead on planning staff events. This includes sourcing suitable venues, coordinating schedules, managing logistics, and designing team‑building activities that support a positive and engaging workplace culture. My role requires strong organisation, communication, and attention to detail and no two days are ever the same!
Experience & background
Life before Omega I was a Beauty Therapist for 10+ years before deciding to have a career change into payroll in 2019 then joining Omega in April 2023.
You might be surprised to learn
Outside of work I love to travel ranging from walking weekend away with my crazy and a little naughty Cockapoo Toby to sitting on the beach with a beer in hand. If not travelling weekend consist of spending time with my family or going to the pub with the girls. Always my claim to fame my Dad had breakfast with Muhammad Ali in Las Vegas. Also randomly, have once appeared on the pyramid stage at Glastonbury!

Inventory Coordinator
Position: Inventory Coordinator

Key Responsibilities- Inventory Coordinator
Execute daily, weekly and monthly cycle count activities in accordance with the inventory control plan.Investigate stock discrepancies identified through cycle counting, stock takes and operational transactions.Ensure all inventory adjustments are accurately processed, documented and approved in line with company procedures.Support the preparation, coordination and execution of annual and periodic stock takes.Maintain accurate inventory records within the inventory management systems.Work closely with Warehouse, Production and Purchasing teams to identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies.Support the investigation and reconciliation of material shortages impacting production.Manage inventory transactions related to disposals, scrap, reworks and quarantined stock.Verify physical stock movements align with system transactions and established processes.Conduct regular audits of warehouse locations, stock handling activities and inventory processes.Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency through process improvements.Support warehouse layout reviews and stock location optimisation activities.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory management procedures and work instructions.Support new product introductions, product withdrawals and engineering changes to ensure inventory records remain accurate.Collaborate with Finance during month-end and year-end stock reconciliation activities.Ensure inventory control activities comply with company policies, procedures and audit requirementsQualifications & Requirements – Inventory Coordinator

Key Responsibilities- Chemistry Analyst
