Before joining Omega, I studied in Poland and the USA, earning a Master’s Degree in Business. Since moving to the UK, I’ve built a career in recruitment, working across UK and international markets. I bring strong account management skills and a proven track record of supporting large-scale and highly technical projects.
One of my proudest achievements has been managing major recruitment campaigns, including sourcing over 160 offshore contractors and supporting more than 100 hires for engineering and modular construction projects. We are now seeking to recruitthe Injection Moulding Toolmaker to manufacture, assembly, and maintain of high-precision mould tools to defined specifications. Using CAD/CAM, EDM, and machining techniques, the role supports the production of quality tooling for plastic injection moulding.
Key Duties:
Interpret 2D and 3D CAD designs to produce accurate tooling componentsAssemble and fit mould tools to engineering drawings and technical specificationsEnsure tools are dimensionally accurate and functionally sound through testing and adjustmentsOperate manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding machinesEnsure tight tolerances are maintained throughout the toolmaking processUse of Precision Measuring and Inspection EquipmentConduct inspections using micrometers, CMMs, gauges, and metrology equipmentMaintain high-quality standards through rigorous checking and documentationroutinesRequired Experience/Background:
